Penske Australia has issued a recall notice for 289 trucks in its MAN TG Series between the year range 2021-2023.
The recall is due to a manufacturing defect, the 24-volt socket in the instrument cluster may have insufficient insulation, which can lead to a vehicle fire.
The affected models are: TGL 4X2, TG-A 6X4, TGL 2-AXLE and TG3 3-AXLE.
Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by MAN asking them to schedule an appointment with their nearest MAN dealership to have their vehicle inspected and the work carried out, free of charge.
