Over the last few weeks, Centurion has put its first 20 zero-emission eActros 300 trucks on the road, to service customers across Perth metro routes.
The operator says the move is part of an ongoing effort to be a sustainable logistics provider, transporting more goods for less emissions.
“As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint, these BEVs will help lower emissions while maintaining the high level of service our customers expect.”
Centurion worked closely with Daimler to bring these electric trucks into the fleet.
“The introduction of 20 electric trucks is an important milestone in Centurion’s sustainability journey,” said Justin Cardaci, Chief Executive Officer at Centurion.
“Partnering with Daimler has allowed us to bring world-class electric transport technology into our operations, reinforcing our commitment to reducing emissions while continuing to deliver reliable service to our customers.”
