Daimler Truck issues recall for 1065 Fuso Shoguns

Daimler Truck Australia Pacific has issued a recall notice for 1065 Fuso Shoguns due to an alternator wiring harness that may have been assembled with insufficient clearance and could become damaged.

If this occurs, the Transmission Control Module may not operate as intended and the driver unable to change gears leading to a loss of motive power while driving, the notice added.

The impacted variants are FV7, FP7, FU7 and FS7 in the year range 2019 to 2022.

Owners of affected vehicles are asked to contact their nearest authorised Daimler Truck dealership to book an appointment to have the rectification carried out, free of charge.
