Countdown to the Casino Truck Show

With just 100 days to go, anticipation is building for the 2025 North Coast Petroleum Casino Truck Show, taking place on Saturday August 2.

Held in Casino’s CBD, organisers say that this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, bringing people together for a celebration of everything trucking.

From the latest in heavy vehicle innovation to eye-catching custom rigs and entertainment, there will be something for the entire family.

According to Richmond Valley Council’s General Manager Vaughan Macdonald, reaching the 100-day mark is a major milestone and the team is working “full noise” to deliver an unforgettable show.

Macdonald said that whether you’re part of the industry or just love trucks, the Casino Truck Show has something for everyone.

Highlights of the event will include Friday Night Lights, Custom Chrome: Downtown Casino, and live entertainment.

The 2025 Dawson’s Haulage Parade will start at 10am Saturday with 200 of Australia’s finest rigs making their way along Johnston Street, into Centre Street before parking up in the CBD.

There will be live demonstrations, allowing visitor to get hands-on with the latest truck technologies and hear from industry experts.

And there’ll be a presentation of trophies at the Mafeking Lamp, including Rig of the Show. The finest trucks will be on display, judged on creativity, craftsmanship and overall presentation.

“With strong support from sponsors and exhibitors, and a growing list of attendees and visitors from across the country and beyond, this year’s show is shaping up to be the biggest yet,” Macdonald said.

Organising Committee spokesman Darren Goodwin said the event’s success would not be possible without the generous contributions of sponsors, whose support enabled the team to deliver a high-quality event celebrating the trucking industry, promoting innovation and bringing the community together.

“We’re incredibly grateful to our sponsors for standing behind us and helping us grow year after year,” Goodwin said.

“Their support allows us to offer a bigger and better experience for everyone involved – from exhibitors and drivers to families and fans.

“As we look ahead to future events, we remain committed to delivering a show which honours the hard work and spirit of the trucking industry, and we’re proud to do so with the support of such dedicated partners.”
