Ryco has been busy in planning mode for the Brisbane Truck Show, hoping to have one of the more exciting stands on offer for visitors to the event.
Those in attendance at the Brisbane Truck Show will get the chance to speak to Ryco’s knowledgeable staff about all things truck filters, have the opportunity to learn more about Ryco’s services, and partake in a competition to win a prize.
But importantly, there will also be a special guest attending, with Casuarina ‘CJ’ Smith of Trucking with CJ visiting the Ryco stand for our Win with your VIN competition – something the Ryco team are super excited about!
For those not yet familiar with her work, CJ, who hails from South Australia, has progressively been building her skills across road trains and heavy equipment operation in applications including mines, harvests and on-road for over nine years.
After sharing insights and learning focused videos of her work online she quickly built a following for her honest insight on life as a truckie, while always backing the transport industry and promoting the sharing of information.
“We’ve had a great relationship with CJ for a little while, being that she’s a great advocate of the Ryco Cabin Filters,” said Nathan Grant, General Manager of Commercial at Ryco.
“She really understands the importance behind it and where we’re trying to generate a bit more education around this category, so her advocacy and support has been massive.”
Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Filters are the only filter on a vehicle that serve little to no engine support and exist purely to protect the driver and cabin passengers. It is what Ryco likes to refer to as the driver’s filter.
As CJ put it, “There are plenty of filters designed to protect a truck’s engine, but there’s only one designed for us drivers.”
CJ has been using these filters on her own truck since commencing work with Ryco and has spoken openly about what a noticeable difference they made.
“The cabin is a driver’s office, bedroom, everything when you’re on the road. It’s not something that drivers often think about, but it should be a clean environment considering the amount of time we’re in there.”
