Truckies should factor in as much as 20 minutes of detour time into their journeys on the M1 Princes Motorway between Masters Road at Figtree and the Princes Highway at Dapto next week.
The M1 Princes Motorway will be closed in both directions on May 11 from 8pm and 4am for five nights until Thursday, May 15, weather permitting, due to routine maintenance work, said Transport for NSW.
Work will include road repairs and resurfacing, vegetation clearing, cleaning gutters and drains, maintenance of safety barriers and litter collection.
Heavy vehicles will detour via Masters, Springhill and Five Islands roads, King Street, Windang and Lake Entrance roads.

Detours will be in place with light vehicles will detour via the Princes Highway.
Unless specified otherwise, operators of Class 1, 2 and 3 vehicles travelling under a notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to inform a suitable approved alternate route.
Operators of Class 1, 2 and 3 vehicles must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the NHVR.
