Australia’s only manufacturer of UHF CB Radios, GME, will be showcasing its range of UHF CB Radios, antennas and safety products at the Brisbane Truck Show.
Founded in 1959 by Edward ‘Ted’ Dunn, GME celebrated its 65th anniversary in late 2024 – a huge milestone for a company that remains Australian owned and operated to this day.
Throughout its decades-long history, GME has produced a number of Australian firsts, including the first Australian EPIRB, first connected UHF CB platform (XRS Connect series in 2016) and in 2024 the first UHF CB Radio with a colour TFT LCD Screen.
To this day, GME remains the only Australian manufacturer of UHF CB Radios and Emergency Beacon products. The business is committed to local manufacturing at its state-of-the-art facility in Western Sydney – where it continues to push the boundaries of RF communication technology.
Visit the GME stand at the Brisbane Truck Show to see its products up-close. On show will be the XRS-BT1 bluetooth audio module. This product offers users more ways to customise their UHF set-up, from choosing the audio output options to the included XRS-PTT, which can be attached to the steering wheel – allowing drivers to keep their focus on the road and their surroundings.
GME will have multiple members of their team on hand at their stand to provide an insight into the range of products as well as to answer any technical questions and queries you may have.
GME does not sell direct to the public but has a vast dealer network right across Australia. Customers can find their closest stockist by visiting gme.net.au/au/find-a-dealer.
For customer support and any queries, the GME team is happy to help with a dedicated local support team available on 1300 463 463 and regularly monitored social media channels.
