It’s all systems go for the Brisbane Truck Show, running from Thursday May 15 to Sunday May 18 – with the big rigs rolling in.
Truckie and event ambassador Casuarina Smith, who runs the popular Instagram page Trucking with CJ, has shared a behind the scenes look at what to expect when the doors open (click through on video link below).
As show ambassador, she’ll have a busy schedule over Truck Week 25 that kicks off with driving Healthy Heads in Trucks and Shed’s new T410SAR to the BCEC.
For most fans, the first chance for a selfie with CJ will be at The Depot later on the opening morning of the show before she heads over to a Show ‘N’ Shine display walkthrough on Little Stanly Street from midday.
On Friday, May 16, CJ will be back at The Depot catching up with the school students, teachers and industry partners, helping to showcase everything the industry has to offer.
On Saturday, May 17, she’ll be at the launch of the Rocklea Heritage Truck Show before returning to The Depot between 2-2.30pm.
The next day you’ll find her at the Show ‘N’ Shine awards ceremony at 10am, before catching up with industry partners Hella Australia and Ryco Filters on their stands in the BCEC and helping with giveaways.
“It is such an honour to be asked to be the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show ambassador,” said CJ.
“Two years ago, when I started sharing short videos of my life at work, I could have only dreamed that it would lead to an opportunity like this.
“I look forward to not only personally learning more but to getting to meet more people in person.”
