Okuslide truck liners have taken Australia by storm, driven by the push for increased safety, extended operational life and reducing carry back. The liner itself is half inch (12.7mm) thick UHMWPE plastic, with additives that reduce friction and make it UV stable. Okuslide is a long term solution that offers a protective barrier against wear from abrasive materials like road base or quarry product. Unlike spray in liners which can wear away after the first delivery, Okuslide will often last two times longer than the aluminium floor sheet.
Okuslide liners increase safety in two ways, by reducing the tipping angle and by reducing hang up. The low friction surface means that product will start to flow much earlier in the tipping angle and will not require the full extension of the hoist. When at full tipping height less product is hanging up in the corners, lowering your centre of gravity and reducing the likelihood of a roll while tipping incident.
