Sydney excavation company donates ‘lifeline’ to families in need

Little Wings, the charity that provides free air transport for seriously ill chidren, has given a big shout out to Road and Rail Excavations, a Sydney-based civil and utility construction company, for its support.

On top of its recent donation of a new aircraft, which Little Wings said will be a “lifeline” for so many families in need, Road and Rail Excavations is further extending the generosity from air to road with a Scania tipper dedicated to the fundraising cause.

The truck’s Little Wings livery includes a Give Now QR Code the public can scan to donate to the charity.

Road and Rail Excavations is also donating all the truck’s operating profits over the next 12 months to Little Wings.

Those funds will go towards fuelling the Navajo plane. It is estimated that 35 missions will be funded through this truck alone.

“The branded truck will serve as a moving symbol of hope and care,” said Little Wings CEO Clare Pearson.

“Scheduled to traverse Sydney and surrounding areas, the truck will be a vibrant reminder of the critical work undertaken by Little Wings.

“With its eye-catching design and the powerful message it carries, this initiative is set to leave a lasting impression on the community, inspiring greater awareness and support for the organisation’s mission.”
