A man has died after two trucks collided in Sydney’s west earlier this morning.
NSW Police reported that both drivers escaped injury but were taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police said the man who died in the crash was a passenger in one of the trucks. He has not yet been formally identified.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Greystanes Road, Greystanes, about 25km west of the Sydney CBD at about 4.20am.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash, with assistance from officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Greystanes Road is closed between Bathurst Street and Old Prospect Road.
