From this weekend, there will be changed traffic conditions on the Golden Highway for essential maintenance work.
The work will take place on the Golden Highway (Pringle Street) at Jerrys Plains, from Sunday October 12.
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) will carry out road rehabilitation along this section of the highway to improve safety and road conditions.
Work will take place at night from 7pm to 5am Sunday to Friday for about two weeks, weather permitting.
Single-lane, alternating traffic flow arrangements will be in place under traffic light control during work hours, with a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h. These arrangements will remain in place 24 hours a day.
Motorists are advised to allow up to 10 minutes’ extra travel time and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
Access for emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Wide loads greater than 3.5 metres will be temporarily stopped by traffic control to allow cones or work vehicles to be moved for safe passage. Advance warning signage will be in place for OSOM operators.
