Lane closures as works carried out along Pacific Highway

There will be a range of lane closures and changed overnight traffic conditions in place over the coming week, while works are carried out along the Pacific Highway. Here’s the details.

At Belmont, changed overnight traffic conditions will come into play from this evening for maintenance work on the Pacific Highway between Floraville and Bellevue roads.

The southbound lanes will be closed one lane at a time while works are carried out to improve the road surface.

This will take place from tonight Friday October 17 and Sunday October 19 from 8pm to 5am. Work is expected to be completed in two nights, weather permitting.

Traffic control, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place.

While at Kanwal, the southbound lanes of the Pacific Highway will be closed one lane at a time while works are carried out to improve the road surface. This will occur on Sunday, October 19 from 8pm to 5am. Work is expected to be completed in one night, weather permitting.

Traffic control, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.  Please allow up to five minutes’ extra travel time.

At Mayfield, there are upcoming changed overnight traffic conditions at the intersection of the Pacific Highway (Maitland Road) and Industrial Drive, Mayfield, for maintenance work.

Transport for NSW will carry out the work, which includes traffic light maintenance, to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.

Work will be carried out during the week commencing Sunday October 19 from 7pm to 5am. Work is expected to be completed in one night.

Signals will be blacked out with traffic control, single lane closures, stop/slow traffic arrangements and a reduced speed.

And on the Pacific Highway from Watanobbi to Wyong, the southbound and northbound lanes will be closed one lane at a time while works are carried out to improve the road surface.

This will take place on Tuesday October 21 and Wednesday October 22 from 8pm to 5am. Work is expected to be completed in two nights.

Traffic control, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place.

For the closures at Belmont, Kanwal and Wyong, over size and/or over mass vehicles (OSOM) will be required to contact 0417 364 984 to be escorted through the site. For OSOM movements through Mayfield, operators will need to call ahead on UHF channel 40 to be escorted through the site.
