There will be upcoming lane closures in place on the Bruce Highway as Queensland Rail overpass bridge works take place.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has advised of southbound lane closures on the Bruce Highway between Maryborough to Gin Gin from October 27 to November 2 between the hours of 7pm and 5am.
The works will be undertaken between Maryborough Biggenden Road roundabout and Walker Street intersection, Maryborough.
During two nights through the period of October 27 to November 2 between the hours of 7pm and 5am, the Bruce Highway northbound exit ramp off Maryborough Biggenden Road (Alma Street), Maryborough will be closed.
Southbound travel
- The Bruce Highway southbound travel is restricted for all OSOM loads.
- Signed detours will be in place for general traffic only.
- No OSOM loads will be permitted through the work site or the signed detours.
Northbound lanes
Between October 27 to November 2, for 2 nights (to be determined during the works) between the hours of 7pm and 5am:
- The Bruce Highway northbound exit ramp off Maryborough Biggenden Road (Alma Street), Maryborough will be closed.
- Signed detours will be in place for general traffic only.
- Northbound lanes will be restricted to 3.5m in width for OSOM during the work period.
- OSOM loads over 3.5m wide will be not permitted through the work site or the signed detours.
