With the Brisbane Convoy for Kids taking place this Saturday, November 1, there will be plenty to see and do – with organisers expecting around 1000 trucks to take part.
Brisbane Convoy for Kids has once again selected Hummingbird House Foundation to be its 2025 fundraising beneficiary, for the 10th year running.
Hummingbird House provides short break stays, family support services, creative therapies, and care at the end of life, for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

On Saturday, the convoy will depart at 7:30am sharp, with the Lead Truck bid winners taking prime position, followed by the remainder of the convoy participants.
For those hoping to secure the Lead Truck spot, initial bids close at 4pm on Wednesday, October 29. When registering your truck, you can make a your opening bid (minimum of $400). Once your initial bid is received, your truck will appear on the leaderboard, along with a photo of your rig.
A final bidding war will take place at 7pm on October 29 via the Brisbane Convoy For Kids Facebook Group (for contenders) and a live feed (for the public).
Bidding will continue until a final result is declared, with each bid displayed and given one minute to be outbid before it becomes final.
On the day of the convoy, this coming Saturday, upon arriving, all participants are required to check in using the QR code on their ticket. All tickets will need to be booked and printed for every passenger in the truck prior to arrival at the starting point.
The convoy will depart from Paradise Road towards Logan Road, making its way onto the M2 Logan Motorway. It will then continue onto the M2 Gateway Motorway, the M1 Gateway Motorway, heading down Deagon Deviation, onto Hornibrook Esplanade, then Oxley Avenue and onto Lamington Drive towards the Redcliffe Showgrounds.
The convoy will then arrive for a fun-filled family day, featuring a wide range of activities and entertainment for everyone to enjoy, including:
- Full display of all participating trucks, vehicles, and bikes
- Truck show judging
- Live entertainment and auctions
- Food stalls
- Interactive displays and stalls
- Free kids’ rides
- Kids’ entertainment

Along with the family fun day, trucks will feature in an exciting truck show, with participants competing in a range of categories – each hoping to go home with a trophy. There will over 20 trophies up for grabs.
The day will also feature an auction that’s shaping up to be the event’s biggest yet, with approximately $80,000 worth of items going under the hammer.
