Transport Women Australia Limited (TWAL) has announced four new board members at its annual general meeting this week.
Rebecca Neilsen and Jacinta Lane from Queensland join the line-up of directors, along with Caitlin Barlow and Sarah Halpin from New South Wales.
Immediate Past Chair Jacquelene Brotherton, who will continue with her role as a columnist with Big Rigs, has stepped down from the board after eight amazing years, as well as Katrina Burns.
The new directors join the team with Coralie Chapman (2016) as chair, Penne Murphy (2021) as vice chair, Di Caldwell-Smith (2016) as secretary, Ainsleigh Thomas (2024), Loretta Hartley (2024) and Claudia Foini as directors.
The addition of the four new directors forms the largest board to have taken command of TWAL and will allow the organisation to continue its growth and produce further projects and initiatives to add ongoing value to present and future members, the association said.
“We would like to personally thank Jacquelene Brotherton for all her amazing work and dedication to the board over the last eight years and we know Jacquelene is only a phone call away and will continue to support TWAL as a member and in her capacity as immediate past chair.”
