From this weekend, there will be changed overnight traffic conditions in place on a section of the Pacific Highway.
From Sunday November 30, maintenance work will be carried out on the Pacific Highway between Failford Road, Failford and Tritton Road, at Possum Brush – continuing for around three weeks, with work taking place from Sundays to Thursdays from, 7pm to 5am.
Transport for NSW will carry out the work in the northbound carriageway, with traffic contraflowing using the southbound lanes. The work includes asphalt rehabilitation.
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) says traffic control, contraflow arrangements, lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place.
“Operators of General Access Heavy Vehicles, and Over Size and/or Over Mass (OSOM) Vehicles with a ground contact wider than four metres must call ahead on UFH Channel 24 to be escorted through the work site,” TfNSW said.
“Please note vehicles travelling under a permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.”
