Investigations have commenced into the circumstances of the crash with the assistance of the Crash Investigation Unit.

The Golden Highway remained closed in both directions between Dunedoo and Ballimore for some time yesterday with diversions adding approximately 66 km and 44 minutes additional travel time.

The highway has since reopened with a 60km/h speed limit in place, but is expected to close later this morning (November 28) for vehicle recovery.
