Reeve Transport’s T909 wins top prize at Castlemaine

Reeve Transport’s 2024 Kenworth T909 was a popular winner of the Truck of the Show trophy at the Castlemaine Rotary Truck Show at the weekend.

An impressive 188 trucks registered to be judged with another 155 turning up on the Sunday morning for the convoy.

Saturday’s Rig of the Day prize went to a Kenworth T909 driven by a very proud young driver, Michael Mowat, who has been driving for Moloney’s for three years.

“Thanks to the truckies, our thousands of patrons, our small army of volunteers and our hardworking Rotary members and friends,” said organisers.

In conjunction with Shamick’s Castlemaine Rotary Truck Show 2025, Castlemaine Rotary and Melbourne North Truck Centre also held the inaugural Golden Wheel Awards Dinner the night before to celebrate past and present legends.

The recipients were: Keith Thompson, Doug Parsons, Phil Duus, Malcolm McClure, Robert McClure and Ron Rice.
