Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds (Healthy Heads) and BP have joined forces to recognise the thousands of road freight transport workers who’ll be working right through Christmas Day to keep the fridges and shelves stocked.
In a gesture of appreciation for the essential work of drivers and the warehousing and logistics sector, the two organisations are offering a free Christmas Day meal to anyone using the Healthy Heads App.
From 11am to 8pm (AEDT/AEST, as applicable) on December 25, app users can redeem a complimentary hot meal at 18 participating BP truckstops.
To claim a free feed, workers simply need to show staff at the counter that they’ve downloaded the Healthy Heads App. Meals are available while stocks last.
Two classic Christmas plates are on offer:
- Roast pork with roasted vegetables, steamed greens, apple sauce and gravy; or
- Roast turkey with roasted vegetables, steamed greens, cranberry sauce and gravy.
Dessert is also included, with a choice of:
- Plum pudding with custard and ice cream; or
- Apple pie with custard and ice cream.
Healthy Heads said the initiative is aimed at giving back to the people who keep freight moving during one of the busiest periods of the year, ensuring shelves stay stocked and vital goods continue to reach communities across Australia.
“This small gesture recognises the essential role transport, warehousing and logistics workers play year-round,” the organisation said.
Healthy Heads and BP also extended their thanks to everyone working this Christmas, wishing all transport, warehousing and logistics workers a safe and happy festive season.

This would be a great thing for the transport industry and drivers…. however, we all know BP truck parking is full of local yokels using it as depot parking…. so with a tonne of interstate drivers on the road and locals parked up because everything is closed…. where does BP think these drivers are going to park…. BP needs to signpost their parking lots, some already have this, but then follow through towing these 3 legged greyhounds off their parking lots at massive costs to their owners so it not only educates them but stops them from doing it to start with, then and only then, will BP be worthy of drivers heading towards them, because right now, drivers know BP most likely doesn’t have space to park so they don’t waste fuel and log book hours (they are valuable these days) diverting to the BP only to be disappointed.
