South Toowoomba truck driver Daniel Akers has been celebrated as a man who lived for his four young children.
Tragically, Daniel, 33, died in a single-vehicle truck crash on the Cunningham Highway at Yelarbon at about 7am on Monday, December 15.
He leaves behind four young children Fletcher, Isabel, Matilda and Ruby.
Their aunt Cody Hardimon has started a GoFundMe page to help the children’s mum, her twin sister Chloe Hardimon, cope through this difficult time.

“Her babies are absolutely heartbroken,” Cody posted.
“As most of us know, losing a loved one is absolutely devastating, and with the cost of living these days, I wanted to help raise some money to help Chloe and her four beautiful children during this time. Especially being so close to Christmas.
“Any little bit of help would be greatly appreciated.”
Cody told Big Rigs the kids loved their dad and he loved his kids.
“My sister and Dan were married for 10 years. Dan was the life of the party.
“He knew how to have fun and he knew how to make anyone smile. He always knew that when times got tough he could always go to my sister and she would open her home to him.
“His kids were his life.”
