Parcel specialist Border Express has extended its national footprint with the opening of a new Sunshine Coast depot in Corbould Park, Queensland.
The new site opened alongside CouriersPlease, which is also owned by Freight Management Holdings, a subsidiary of Pacific Equity Partners, at the end of March.
Border Express aid the facility offers easy access to key transport routes across Queensland and beyond.
“The depot’s prime position supports efficient freight movement to and from the region, helping us continue to deliver on our promise of dependable, on-time service,” said a news post on the Border Express website.
The Sunshine Coast depot features Warehouse 1 over 3493 square metres, with Warehouse 2 over 2127 square metres available for short-term lease as business needs expand.
“This new facility is co-located with CouriersPlease, creating a strong logistics hub and opportunities for collaboration and shared efficiencies.”
Border Express said establishing a company-owned depot in this area allows it to better serve our customers, improve delivery times, and support the region’s continued expansion.
“By investing in a local depot, we’re ensuring our customers have access to faster, more reliable service, while providing our team with a modern workplace designed for efficiency and connection.
“This move strengthens our footprint in Queensland and reflects our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers.”
The Sunshine Coast launch comes less than a year after Border Express also opened depots in Townsville and Newcastle.
