Veteran driver Darren Tenace drives an Isuzu for Cairns-based Neta Tires and Wheels in a beautiful area of Far North Queensland.
The 57-year-old was heading along the Captain Cook Highway when Big Rigs saw him pull up at a rest area.
It was at Craiglie near Port Douglas and Darren was on the way to Mossman just up the highway.
“It is a good job, and I get around to many places up this way,” Darren said.
Darren said the trusty Isuzu was a reliable truck and suited the work he does perfectly.
In his recreation time Darren likes playing golf.
Craiglie is located 10km from Mossman and the rest area there has parking for trucks, clean toilets, shaded areas and even an electric barbecue.
It is a great and welcome stop for drivers as the 70km stretch of the Captain Cook Highway has few other places to stop.
Especially with all of the roadworks in progress.
Neta Tires & Wheels is a family-owned business which started operations in 1961.
