A truck driver has died following a three-vehicle crash on the Kamilaroi Highway near Narribri, NSW, earlier today.
Emergency services were called to the scene, 20km west of Narrabri, at about 10am.
Police were told a truck had collided with a caravan, before colliding with a ute.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended, however, the driver of the truck – a man – was located deceased.
He is yet to be formally identified.
Police said the occupants of the ute and caravan were uninjured.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.

Culgoora Rd (in each direction) via Wee Waa – Authorised by Council for all vehicles up to 26m B-doubles.
Heavy vehicles over 26m B-Doubles: Newell Hwy, Gwydir Hwy, (via Moree) Castlereagh Hwy in each direction.
Unless specified otherwise, operators of Class 1,2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternative route.
Operators of Class 1, 2 & 3 vehicles travelling under a Permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.
