The Stainless steel Pin Mill is a high speed impact grinding machine designed for the grinding of dry materials. Materials this machine can grind are sugar salt spices dehydrated vegetables dairy products extruded products and a number of powders grains and seeds. The grinding action within the Pin Mill is achieved by impacting the product particles with a series of hardened steel pins. The product enters through the eye of the machine and is regualted via a sliding gate it then then passes through rows of pins rotating at high speed between stationary pins. The product particles are shattered into fragments as they progress towards the outlet. This action creates a fan effect and a high volume of air is drawn through with the product keeping it cool. The machine's grinding action can be controlled by altering the feed rate to the machine and the speed of the rotor. The outfeed size of the materials can be controlled by changing the mesh size in the mill. Capacity: up to 1000kg/hr Screen sizes 1mm -5 mm 7.5kw Drive Smaller St/Steel pin mills are also available.
