HYBRID DRIVE
Driven by Toyota Group technology that is proven in millions of hybrid vehicles worldwide, the Hybrid system uses a lightweight Power Control Unit (PCU) that encompasses the battery, inverter, Engine Control Unit (ECU) and DC-DC Converter.

The 4.0-litre 150hp Intercooled Turbo Diesel delivered in combination with the electric motor produces 470Nm of torque with maximum torque available at a very low 1200rpm minimising fuel use.

A six-speed automated transmission with a directly coupled electric drive motor results in quicker gear shifts and smoother take-offs, delivering up to 20%* fuel and emissions reductions (*Actual results will vary depending on the application of the vehicle and how it is driven).

Hybrid Electric can also benefit from up to 16% reduction in maintenance costs as regenerative braking reduces the use and increases the life of sere brakes while charging the Hybrid batteries.
