Isuzu Australia is recalling certain N Series light-duty trucks due to a manufacturing issue with a hose in the automatic transmission.

The defect may cause fluid to leak from the transmission, which could result in a loss of motive power.

“A loss of motive power while in use could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users,” the recall notice by the government regulator reads.

There are 307 affected N Series units in the year range 2018-2021.
