Oxley Highway flood update

Transport workers near the Orana region of New South Wales are reminded that the Oxley Highway is closed in both directions between Gilgandra and Warren due to flooding from Industrial Access Road to Marshall Street.
Suggested alternative routes are the Newell Highway and Mitchell Highway, whilst Lachlan Valley Way has now been reopened between Forbes and Gooloogong.
Motorists are being asked to use the Newell Highway and Mitchell Highway as alternative routes.
However, parts of the state still remain closed due to flooding. The areas currently off limits to traffic are the Kamilaroi Highway, which is closed at three locations between Boggabri and Gunnedah, Wee Waa and Narrabri
and Wee Waa and Walgett.
Other roads in this vicinity also remain closed, including:
• Grain Valley Road between the Oxley Highway and Kamilaroi Highway in Boggabri
• Clifton Road – closed between Carroll and Breeza
• Pilliga Road –  closed between Wee Waa and Pilliga
• Killarney Gap Road – closed between Narrabri and Bingara
In the Central West, Henry Lawson Way is closed between Forbes and Grenfell.
Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution and follow the directions of emergency services and traffic controllers on site.
